KGMU Historic Building

King George's Medical University (KGMU), formerly known as King George's Medical College, is a premier medical institution located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1911, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools in India. The university is named after King George V and has a rich heritage of over a century in medical education, research, and patient care.

The institution was granted the status of a University in 2002, and since then it has expanded its academic and research endeavors. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and therapeutic technology, including MRI, CT scan, PET-CT, digital mammography, linear accelerators for radiotherapy, and advanced cardiac cath labs.
